Privacy Policy
Meta SEO was built so this page could be short.
1. What the plugin stores
The plugin stores two kinds of data, both in your own WordPress database, on your own server:
- Your settings, in the standard WordPress options table.
- Per-post metadata: custom titles, descriptions, noindex flags, and the state of each content check.
| Data | Stored where | Removed when |
|---|---|---|
| Your settings | WordPress options table | the plugin is deleted |
| Per-post SEO data | WordPress post meta | the post is deleted, or the plugin is deleted |
That is the complete list. There is no third list in a footnote somewhere.
2. What the plugin never does
- Makes no outbound network requests of any kind
- Sets no cookies
- Loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or assets
- Collects no telemetry, usage statistics, or crash reports
- Asks for no personal information
- Shares nothing with us - technically it cannot, because it has nowhere to send it
3. Search engines
Meta SEO does not contact Google, Bing, or any other service. Sitemap submission is a manual step you perform in your own accounts, and your accounts are yours.
4. About this website
This site is a small, self-contained set of pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us by email.
5. Your data and removal
Uninstalling the plugin removes its settings and post meta from your database, unless you switch on Keep settings on uninstall. Nothing needs to be requested from us, because nothing was ever sent to us.
6. Contact
