Terms of Use

Plain terms for a small plugin. By downloading or using Meta SEO, or by using this website, you accept the terms below.

1. The plugin and its license

Meta SEO is free software licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. You may use, study, modify, and redistribute it under the terms of that license. The complete license text accompanies every copy of the plugin.

2. This website

The pages, guides, and documentation on this site describe the plugin and how to use it. You may read, print, and quote them with attribution. The written content of this site may not be republished wholesale without permission.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to present the plugin as your own product, not to distribute modified versions under the Meta SEO name without clearly marking them as modified, and not to use this site or our mailboxes for unlawful purposes, spam, or harassment.

4. No warranty

The plugin and this website are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. Search rankings depend on many factors outside any plugin's control; nothing here promises traffic, positions, or income.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors of Meta SEO are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the plugin or this site, including lost data, lost profits, or lost rankings, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Third-party trademarks

WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor, Google, Bing, and any other names referenced on this site belong to their respective owners. References serve compatibility and functional description only and imply no affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the project grows. The current version always lives on this page, and material changes will be announced on the home page at least two weeks before taking effect. Continued use after that date means acceptance.
